Readjustment of the price of petrol RON95 and diesel

01/10/2014

It is definitely not the way I would have envisaged to start my beautiful October…

It is raining frenetically since last week but today just topped the chart which ended me at least an hour delayed to home from work (usually it takes only 15-20min to reach home) and totally soaking wet when I had to run across the open car park to my car…the rain was so heavy that I thought it might had caused the Klang River overflowed, flooded the entire Jalan Jelatek and brought some live piranhas to the streets!

And then…I saw this great great news! So great that my anger is boiling inside with great turmoil….

In an official letter published by Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri (KPDN), it has stated that the petrol subsidy has been revised and that resulted the subsidization of Petrol RON 95 and diesel to be reduced 20 cent/litre, effectively on 12.01am, 02/10/2014.  Which means, the price of RON 95 and diesel are RM2.30 and RM2.20 cent/litre respectively!

My heart was pounding so hard and anger was boiling especially when I have confirmed the news with the notification received from Astro Awani.

What happen to all the promises that prices will be reduced, taxes will be exempted, PARADISE upon ahead from the ruling coalition party during the election campaign?

So much so for the government to try to understand the struggle of its citizens but all these new policies and plans are nothing but destructive! Destructive in the sense that it destroys the belief, trust of its supporters and citizens towards the government..Destructive in the sense that all the new policies are nothing but a pile of papers which increase the citizens burden maliciously and with each of these “policies” take toll, the hatred, burden, stress, frustration towards the government grow and grow stronger…

We do not need additional, unnecessary policies that aid to reduce the living stress, for example tax exemption upon sales achieved or schemes or BRIMs…what we want..or at least, what I wish for, is something very surface, effective and directly!

It feels terrible and sucks knowing that the fate of my future country is so gloomy if this continue…..

For one thing I’ve learnt this week especially from the Hongkongers, is that the fate of a country lies depend on the hands of the citizens who live in the country, not toyed or fooled by a few selective people who thinks they have all the benefits due to their identities and or supremacies.
