Me preparing to attend Ubah Speech!

Me preparing to attend Ubah Speech!

Finally here comes our greatest and most important mission of all – to attend Suara Rakyat Pidato dari Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his coalition party members in Stadium Batu Kawan.

The stadium was located really far away from our hotel. Initially we thought it might be organized at Esplanade but we really missed out one point which is the event is organized so last minute that having it in the public place is nearly impossible since you need written approval by the police. But having it in stadium is different as long as it is not a rally, basically you can’t stop anyone to have an indoor event in a stadium!

We departed a little bit late as a friend of mine visited me. We had a long chat since it was ages ago that we met..hahaha…ladies’ talk..can’t help it… We left at around 7p.m and had a quick dinner in the nearby hawker (of course it tasted super nice too) and head straight to the stadium.

But the moment we left  Penang Bridge the jam began.. and it was about 16km distance still..after about 2 hours, I even had a nap in the car, we were still stuck in the massive jam, about 9km left still…I was getting a little bit impatience as it was already 9.00p.m. By 5km, we started to see people wearing black shirt from the front running towards us to ask all the cars to park besides the road. And we were in the middle of highway near Exit 151! OMG~ By then it was already 10p.m.

Joining the crowd, we parked our car and walked towards the stadium. Luckily I put on my sport shoes and was wearing a short. As we were walking, there were kids standing on their balcony shouting at us “Ubah! Ubah! Ubah!”. Everyone laughed but the sounds from the future leaders had became everyone driving force to continue to walk even faster as we are now fighting for their futures! Even kids at that age know that this is essential and critical~

Among the crowd I can see many elderly…or even parents who brought along their children.. Everyone is wearing black.. when there is some people who decided to give up due to the long walking distance, the person who stand next to him/her, regardless friends or strangers will channel the positive energy and encourage them to continue to walk. For elderly, if they are tired, they were assisted to the nearby R&R station to rest. Meanwhile, on the road, I also can see men stationing themselves to help to guide the traffic or assist the drivers to park their cars. Everything is so coordinate and everyone is cooperative.

Look at the queues!

We waited at this junction for the march...

We waited at this junction for the march…

By the time we walk to the junction, it was already 11p.m. Dear and I began to hear people requesting us not to go in as the event had already finished and there were people marching out with banners. So we stopped and wait for the march, not long later, a group of young enthusiasm young adults were marching out and yelling “UBAH! UBAH! UBAH! KITA SEMUA ANAK MALAYSIA! KITA SEMUA SEKELUARGA!” and asked the crowd to join in with them to take pictures to show to the government or media that we are all united despite our races, religions or colours.

IMG_6273Cars from the opposite lanes were honking and rolling down their mirrors and gave us all their thumbs, showing their support to us!

Waving flag in the middle of the highway..how often can you do that..lol

People were waving flags, blowing whistles..

Up to here, I really don’t have to say much. The election had passed couple of weeks by now. How many of you are beginning to accept and swallow the result? I can proudly tell you all that until now I still will make sure that I will wear at least a black item to work. Even it is not completely black, at least there’s a spot with black! Why? Many have told me that they are impressed with my persistent and courage, why do you all envy and impressed with my courage when I, myself, don’t feel that I have done enough for my country?

The cabinet had just formed yesterday. Today, our Home Ministry Minister asked anyone who are not satisfied with the GE13 result to migrate or leave. What does that mean?

The reason people want to overthrown this government, this rulling coalition is exactly because the party has no longer real talents! Even if they have real talents they are not here to serve the people right! I am not saying that the opposition party is the best! But at least we can see most of the members are truly devoted their time and energy to serve their people. At least, I see for myself that Penang has been in a never better condition now. I see it myself, I feel it.

Media suppression..remember the advertisement by MCA in the media on how they urge people not to vote for DAP because DAP joins PAS and over the year when PAS ruled Kelantan, Kelantanese have higher rate of AIDS, rapes….etc….

Lynas… they are claiming that the waste will be recylce into environment friendly materials to build tar road which scientists from overseas had confirmed that it is not possible to be done! Also not to forget that the international environment act had forbid us to export the waste out from Malaysia back to Australia. C’mon people, government give them 10 years free tax so that they can build their plant here. Besides the job oppurtunities, how are they going to bring us profit? Even with high profit margin, what about the waste? What about our own land? We can’t even build proper stadium or highway that can sustain for years without collapsing what about managing radioactive waste? China government had also urged the Malaysia government to reconsider this decision! If is save, why did Australia government reject their proposal in building the plant in their own country!? You really think that Australia will take back their own waste?!

Corruption… don’t have to give example. It happen so frequent and everywhere… if you have no idea, try walking into any government department to get something done. That’s just a minor corruption. Major corruption.. undisclosed bidding of major national projects! Go take a look at Tun Taib properties..compare his family to the ordinary citizens or bumiputera there..not to forget joining this category>> 1Malaysia!

racism.. Apa Cina lagi mao!? Cina tsunami. If 1Malaysia propaganda is true, may I ask our government why does certain people enjoy special low rates or priority in everything they buy? Why is the quota for university is still there. What kill me most is that with that quota exist, you still allowed Nigerian, Arabians, Africans come to our local university to study! Why there is only 1 day of public holiday for the Indians Deepavali whereas Malays and Chinese get to have two days public holiday to celebrate their new year? Why is the citizens of Peninsula needed custom check when entering to Sabah and Sarawak and why we can’t buy properties there or we can’t even stay there for more than 3 months?! Why do people here need to apply for PR to stay in Sabah and Sarawak?! NOT RACISM ENOUGH? Why are listed companies needed to have at least 30% of Malays in their companies or why are non-Malays can’t be promoted to certain higher positions in government department? How many non-Malays are working in SIRIM? How many non-Malaysa are studying in MARA and UKM?! NOT RACISM? Who is the one who said wanted to fill the Keris with Chinese blood or ask the Chinese to go back China?! If the ruling coalition really against racism, why are they constantly attack PAS for wanting to implement some religion rules or stopping the Chinese to support PAS?!

Injustice and insecure..Murder of Altantuya, mysterious death of Teoh Beng Hock and Bala (PI of Altantuya case appointed by Altantuya father), people died during custody..who is going to be the next? Snatch thieves, robberies, raping, stealing..I am not saying that other countries do not suffer crime rate but what I would like to point out here is that our crime rate is increasing in an alarming rate! Police are not helping in reducing the crime rate all..in fact if you are about to file a report on someone snatch your bag, they will ask you to forget about it as long as you are safe. Why do I need to tolerate and compromise with crimes!? Gosh~ Is there anyone know what happen to the Gweilo who was kidnapped, locked up for 15 days and raped brutally? Any news on that?

Fradulant in GE13..indelible ink mysteriously become delible..one day said the operators did not shake the content correctly, next week claim they change the ingredients to reduce the risk of getting cancer. First, if is carcinogenic, DON’T BUY! DON’T USE! Second, you have already approved Lynas, sooner or later everyone will get radioactive anyway~ People saw mysterious bags and boxes with contents that shared similarity with our vote ballots being transported into the counting station by taxi or van… gerrymandering and malapportionment… phantom voters… Bangladeshi that claim to be Malaysians.. People stop voting at 5pm but even by 12a.m there were still no announcement in major cities/states but instead results from bigger and rural areas like Sarawak were announce first! How possibly can a coalition party winning the majority votes lose when the losing party has only majority wins in 2 states but not 11 states and 2 federal territories?

Education…WORST SCENARIO OF ALL! One year English medium, next year Malay medium… teachers are not being assigned properly.. lousy system that only emphasize grades..they mould the students into what they think is right but not allowing them to have their own thinking. Anything that they answer does not match the “standard marking scheme” is wrong! Ya right…~

I strongly do not believe the GE13 result and strongly do not trust election commission! I do not support the ruling coalition party mainly because they intentionally divide the society by using racial sentimental, they are selfish and greedy and incapable of being the people leader! Some of the supporters of ruling party claimed that they have “mempertahankan hak Melayu” but let me ask you, pushing aside all the support, do you feel that our country is moving forward? Do you think they really fighting for your rights? Many of you keep complaining that the non-Malay, especially Chinese, is topping the chart for being the richest in Malaysia. You blame we suck you dried but we are not the one that putting up taxes on your daily life! Many of us face financial crisis too! With all the priorities given to you why can’t you triumph us? It is because you are in a well feed condition. The government feed you the basic necessity that you think that is sufficient that’s why you are reluctant to step out from your comfort zone to be more competitive! This is the reason! And please do not forget that there are many Malay here are so so so so rich (Dr.M and his family, Someone with the Lion King hairstyle with rings and bags…etc) but why you guys are not? Regardless Chinese, Indians, Kadasans..etc, we are suffering financial crisis too! Look at those bumiputera in Sabah and Sarawak..they are worst! Stop being blinded by the advertisement show. Walk in and feel yourself. I see it with my own eyes. Kids of age 6 have to wipe and clean people shoes to earn money. Babies are dumped in front of hospitals because they couldn’t afford to raise them. No proper roads to their house. These are the so called PRIVILEGED BUMIPUTERA! What happen to their rights?

I love my country. I love my friends from different races, cultures, beliefs… I have many Malay friends and colleagues who I adore very much and we live peacefully and harmony…we helped each other..cooked together..we talked about children, news, family problems together… We eat in mamak together…we drink teh tarik…we wish each other Selamat Hari Raya, Happy Chinese New Year, Merry Christmas, Selamat Hari Deepavali…. we go holiday together…. we are all unite! What we are doing here is not to provoke any racism issues but to fight for real, true DEMOCRACY! We want a better Malaysia..for our future..for our next generations… we want to be heard..we want a real government that really concern and serve the people rights but not buying us with money or threatening us to go back to homeland of our late ancestors. Ancestors of majority Malaysians regardless of what races or beliefs were from somewhere else. The true land owner should be the bumiputera but they are the under privileged group right now. How odd is that!

Dear waving flag with the mascot

Dear waving flag with the mascot

Indeed, the person behind the Vendetta mask is a Malay. But he is waving DAP flag. I saw many Chinese Peningites were waving PAS and KEADILAN flag. Indians were there too! We were all bonded~

Indeed, the person behind the Vendetta mask is a Malay. But he is waving DAP flag. I saw many Chinese Peningites were waving PAS and KEADILAN flag. Indians were there too! We were all bonded~

All I want to say is we are all Malaysians. Yes, our skin colour may different, our beliefs are different, but beyond all the difference in cultural practice, we have the same colour of blood, the same chromosomal numbers. We see too many injustices and we can feel that our country is falling behind. Corruption is the root of all evil! Racism is just a tactic to keep us not to be strong enough to against them. We should break the tradition. Just like now we are all united in this speech where we do not declare ourselves as Malay, Chinese, Indians but we call ourselves Malaysians! We are not to against which particular group of race but we are here to against CORRUPTION! AUTOCRACY! LIARS!
